就在上個月和同學從國華街行經友愛街時, 在美術館二館的對面發現了一間外觀米白色的迷你咖啡店 Barista_ray Coffee, 立馬就被它給吸引, 稍稍佇足了一下下研究了它的菜單, 驚覺怎麼會賣得如此便宜 (近期消費不少咖啡店和甜點店, 價值觀已經嚴重被扭曲), 當下立刻把它放入口袋名單之中。

回到家一查才發現, 原來他是之前在國華街上擺攤的拉花冠軍於2019年新開的店面。雖說是店面但是非常地迷你, 店裡扣除掉咖啡製作區域之後, 就只剩下吧枱前這一長椅的內用座位, 最多大概可以擠下5~6個人(內用有冷氣吹)。而店外也有一長椅的外用小吧枱桌以及騎樓靠近馬路邊也有擺放一張長椅以及2張小桌子。也因為內用座位有限, 所以主打的是可以外帶的咖啡店, 而且很佛心地不管是內用或外帶都是一樣的價格。

今天其實是蓋瑞二訪 Barista_ray Coffee。初訪時被他的芭樂冰咖啡以及冰拿鐵給征服, 所以今天在吃完 小北家灶咖 (文章連結請按此) 的早午餐之後, 就立馬續攤來這裡。所以這篇文章的照片有初訪及二訪所拍, 初訪為晚上, 二訪為白天。

水果冰咖啡-芭樂 NT$70

在入口前會先聞到芭樂的香氣, 而入口後讓人更驚艷的是浮在上層細緻泡沫的咖啡油脂(Creama)的香味以及滑順口感, 加上老板在裡面加入了一點點的檸檬汁, 讓整杯喝起來的味道更加有層次, 大愛, 推薦必點必點必點。

蓋瑞在初訪喝到這杯芭樂冰咖啡時, 實在是太好奇上層的細緻泡沫是什麼, 雖然直覺是Espresso的Creama, 但為了確保自己沒猜錯, 才求證於老板, 證實自己猜得沒錯, 而至於Creama是怎麼變成一大堆細緻的泡沫, 經過蓋瑞努力的向估狗大神請教之後, 終於找到答案, 原來是利用”均質機”打泡而成。
所以今天二訪蓋瑞很認真的在觀察老板調製每一杯咖啡的動作, 才發現他在製作水果冰咖啡時都會將均質機的打泡杯子放於電子秤上 每加入一樣材料都會仔細看秤上的數字, 原來每一杯都是有SOP的。而蓋瑞今天坐在店內發現均質機超忙, 無時無刻都在進行打泡的動作, 可見水果冰咖啡也是店裡人氣招牌。

今天二訪, 蓋瑞點了桑椹口味, 相較於芭樂, 蓋瑞個人偏愛桑椹多一點, 也是推薦必點。

拍這杯檸檬咖啡時發生了悲劇, 蓋瑞不小心把灑在上頭的黑糖粉給灑落了, 還傾倒了一些咖啡出來, 老板看到蓋瑞要拍照, 好心的又補灑了一次黑糖粉。下圖就是補灑黑糖粉的照片。

這杯冰拿鐵應該是今年喝過屬一屬二好喝的了, 咖啡夠味, 牛奶的量適中, 不會搶走咖啡味。

第一次看到用鹹蛋黃做成的蛋塔, 一定要點來吃一下的。內用的話老板會放到烤箱回烤, 微溫蛋塔裡的甜蛋液搭上不過份死鹹的鹹鴨蛋黃, 完全不違和, 推薦必點。

今天很幸運地吃到最後一顆可麗露。內用一樣會放到烤箱回烤讓可麗露回復它表面該有的脆度。不過老實說這不是蓋瑞吃過最脆最好吃的, 但也還算不錯, 這款不一定每天都會有, 有看到的話請務必點來吃看看, 而且一出烤箱請儘速食用。

現在只要看到店家有賣布丁就是無條件點一個來吃。這款吃起來蛋香味濃郁, 口感很像蓋瑞小時候最愛在吃挫冰時加點的古早味蒸布丁口感, 好吃。(底下照片為初訪時所拍攝)
