今天要來介紹的五條港食堂也是蓋瑞放很久的口袋名單, 終於在今天有機會約成聚餐邀約。蓋瑞對於日式炸物, 不管是怎樣的食材或是炸的方式全都來者不拒, 相信大部份的人對於日式的唐揚炸物也是缺乏抵抗力。不過今天親自來訪後才發現原來日本的炸物並不是只有一種炸的方式, 底下就透過餐點的照片不專業的介紹給大家。大家可以仔細看各個炸物的照片一定可以看到每樣食材的麵衣都不太一樣哦, 當然吃起來的口感也不盡相同。(底下介紹的部份文字內容參考來自店家FB)
八丁味噌豬排定食 NT$250
這是蓋瑞點的, 為了能一次吃到炸豬排再加上味噌口味, 所以點了這道, 品嚐過後也證明點這道是點對了, 推薦必點!

五條港食堂的這道味噌豬排, 日式炸豬排麵衣就和大多數的店家一樣沾裹麵包粉油炸, 豬排則是選用溫體豬只以簡單的鹽調味, 並且不破壞肉的組織在適當的油溫洗禮下炸出來的麵衣帶著適當的酥脆度, 不刮口, 一口咬下肉汁的鮮甜味並帶有一點油脂瞬間在嘴中炸開, 不柴不澀, 光是簡單的炸豬排就有如此極佳的表現了。

但是, 這道的另一個靈魂角色是淋在炸豬排上那黑到發亮的八丁味噌。根據老板娘的介紹, 店家使用的是來自日本擁有四百年歷史老字號公司製作且發酵2年的八丁味噌。蓋瑞和吃友們一聽這不得了的介紹都發出讚嘆聲, 或許是因為經歷了2年的發酵所以才能調製出如此沈穩但又自信地散發光澤的味噌醬汁, 配著已經炸得很好吃的豬排一口咬下, 又是另一種不同的美味世界, 深遂又富有層次的味道值得您親自來品嚐看看。

定食除了主餐外, 還有五道小菜, 茶碗蒸, 味噌湯以及白飯, 整個套餐吃下來很有飽足感啊。小菜應該會不定時做更動, 底下就不一一介紹了, 重點是不能因為小菜就小瞧了它們, 因為每一道都還滿好吃的。

↓這道的味道很特別, 像是用了醃漬的烏梅或是梅干菜和白菜製作而成, 蓋瑞第一次吃到這種組合, 很有新鮮感, 也是很下飯的一道小菜。

五條港食堂的炸雞其實是使用了竜田揚げ(tazu ta age)的方式去製作, 和一般我們熟悉的唐揚げ(kara age)不同, 竜田揚げ也算是唐揚げ的一種, 但是不同的是 竜田揚げ 是事先把雞肉調味, 加上酒或味醂醃好, 裹上片栗粉炸製而成。
老板娘特別介紹了炸雞會呈現白色的粉狀物就是使用片栗粉炸過後自然呈現的現象。使用雞腿肉的竜田炸雞, 皮脆完全不油膩, 一入口是鮮嫩多汁啊。

喜歡吃魚的人推薦可以點這道。店家使用的鯖魚還滿肥美的, 使用了赤味噌以及白味噌下去燉煮後吃起來少了一般鯖魚的腥味與死鹹味, 取而代之的是魚肉吃起來帶有味噌熬煮後的濃厚味道, 魚肉吃起來相對地也很鮮甜好吃。

接下來要介紹的是店家另外提供的單點炸物, 今天晚上蓋瑞和吃友們全都點了, 重點是店家的炸功了得, 完全無雷啊。
炸海老 NT$45/尾
日文的海老其實就是蝦子。原本蓋瑞是要點牆上菜單上的海老天婦羅, 但是老板娘說因為這一道裡只有2隻炸蝦加上其它炸時蔬組合而成, 因為蓋瑞已經有點另一道時蔬天婦羅了, 所以老板娘建議蓋瑞和吃友們可以另外直接單點炸海老, 一人一隻。在詢問價格後, 立馬決定那就來個一人一隻炸蝦吧, 事實證明這樣的決定是明智的, 因為一人一隻吃起來才過癮。

店家使用的是花咲揚げ(はなさきあげ), 這種華麗的炸法一般只使用在天丼和蕎麥麵, 這樣的炸法可以讓食材吃起來有大面積的酥脆感。
回到店家的炸海老, 使用的蝦子不會太小隻, 蝦肉質吃起來Q彈, 重點是千萬不要錯過炸蝦頭啊, 超好吃的, 推薦必點必點!!

這道一端上來, 大伙同時發出了驚呼聲, 從照片或許看不太出來, 但是它實際上非常大一盤, 裡面盛裝了11種新鮮時蔬, 蓋瑞記得的有小蕃茄 / 地瓜 / 白蘿蔔 / 四季豆 / 金針菇 / 山茼蒿 / 茄子 / 青椒 / 南瓜 / 香菇。

裡面最特別的也是蓋瑞要提醒大家的就是炸小蕃茄, 吃得時候一定要特別小心啊, 蓋瑞一口咬下時, 熱燙燙的蕃茄汁瞬間爆開, 還好沒有到很燙口的地步, 但著實有嚇一跳, 不過這炸過後的蕃茄汁味道還真的滿不錯的。
另外還有一個比較特別的是炸白蘿蔔。老板娘特別交特這個不用沾鹽或醬汁, 因為表面已有先塗抹一層赤味噌調味了, 實際吃起來蓋瑞和吃友都覺得在店家的獨特製作手法下吃起來的口感和味道完全不像白蘿蔔, 倒是有點像山藥的感覺, 很妙, 但還滿好吃的。

柳葉魚關西炸 NT$80
炸得酥脆的柳葉魚前半部沾浸店家特製的醬汁後端上桌後, 老板娘特別交待這道要迅速食用, 以免影響口感。在這裡蓋瑞要特別提醒大家, 雖然柳葉魚可以一整條從頭到尾直接入口咀嚼, 但在品嚐的同時還是要細嚼慢嚥, 因為蓋瑞當天就因為吃得很不專心, 其中一根比較硬一點的魚刺沒有特別嚼碎, 差點梗在喉嚨, 千萬要小心啊!
