旗魚半敲燒 NT$350
因為沒吃過半敲燒所以點來嚐鮮看看, 雖然不難吃, 但蓋瑞覺得這一盤店家將外層烤熟的部份處理太厚了, 吃進口裡幾乎都被熟的魚肉佔據了大半, 生魚片的口感反而很微弱, 有點可惜, 這是一道很考驗當日人品的料理。

這三個烤飯糰擺在一起端上來超適合拍照, 不過拍照手速要快, 因為海苔一下就軟掉了。紫蘇梅口味抹在飯上面的是紫蘇梅醬, 奉勸沒有真心很愛以及可以接受日式紫蘇梅那種帶鹹口味的人不要輕易下手點它, 因為真的很鹹。根うなぎ串居酒屋 的烤飯糰個人覺得如果想要一餐下來有飽足感的話可以點, 不過個人沒有很愛, 它的外層烤得不夠焦脆, 且海苔太小張了。

底下圖片由左至由分別是 老醬/蔥塩/明太子/柚子胡椒。不得不說, 根うなぎ串居酒屋 自製的老醬味道真的還滿厲害的, 刷在肉上嚐起來有一股陳年發酵的醇厚醬香味並帶點酒味, 非常迷人, 推薦老醬串燒必點; 蔥塩則是使用切碎的洋蔥下去製作, 味道也是很讚, 推推; 而這裡的明太子沙拉沒有蓋瑞很怕的腥味, 很可以; 柚子胡椒則是想像得到的味道, 也是不賴。

這應該是蓋瑞第一次吃到用豬肉片包著鵪鶉蛋下去烤的肉串, 很新奇也很不錯吃, 推薦給愛嚐鮮的人; 而豬野菜則是豬肉片裡面包著豆苗, 也是第一次吃到的新奇組合, 吃得到很新鮮又多汁的豆苗, 大推。

對於烤雞皮, 目前蓋瑞心目中的第一名應該是 歐野基串燒き屋台 (文章連結請按此) 的烤雞皮, 但是今晚品嚐到根うなぎ串居酒屋 的烤雞皮後, 兩者雖然呈現出不同的流派, 但都非常美味, 可以並列第一。有別於歐野基烤到脆脆的雞皮, 根うなぎ串居酒屋 則是保留雞皮的油脂, 烤到恰到好處再刷上店家的獨特醬汁, 讓雞皮一入口有如在吃帶有油脂的肥腸, 但又極易咀嚼, 立馬就愛上, 推薦雞皮愛好者一定要點。而心繫管則是極少見出現在台南的串燒店之中, 推薦也是必點, 嚐起來鮮嫩且有彈性。
