台南最近幾個月專賣披薩的店家似乎越開越多間, 每一間都有自己主打的特色, 有的是窯烤的, 有的是美式口味的, 而今天要介紹的Marco Pizza則是純正義大利人在台南市開的義式披薩店。之前蓋瑞吃過覺得不錯的店: PIZZERIA da 航 (連結請按此)

Marco Pizza的本店是開在台南市安南區, 這實在不是蓋瑞的覓食活動範圍。剛好在上個禮拜滑IG時看到它在2020年3月於台南市北區的嘻門埕開設了分店, 當下就決定讓它插隊, 把它排在今晚來踩點。

蓋瑞建議如果是4個人以上來用餐的話, 可以考慮直接點一整個披薩分食(一整個大披薩店家會切成八片), 重點是可以做半/半口味, 取價格高的口味計價。這樣可以確保絕對可以吃到熱乎乎現桿現烤的披薩。當然如果點單片也是可以的, 均一價每片NT$40, 如果要吃脆脆口感的人記得交待老板, 才能確保回烤後能吃到像剛出爐一樣的。

Marco Pizza烤披薩的器具很奇妙, 是像做潤餅皮的圓型平烤盤再加上一個圓弧型的蓋子。這還是蓋瑞第一次看到用這種機器製作出的披薩。

再來, 其實店家有好幾樣隱藏版口味是菜單上沒有的, 記得進到店裡面之後先往門口玻璃門上吊著的菜單看, 那邊會掛著基本菜單上沒有的口味; 另外在披薩保溫櫃的另一頭還掛著兩種義大利麵口味, 星期四供應墨魚義大利麵, 星期五則是牛絞肉蕃茄肉醬麵。不過其它平日想吃義大利麵的話還是可以問一下老板的, 蓋瑞今晚太晚到, 已完售, 殘念。

燻雞培根+芬妮披薩 (櫛瓜培根) NT$300
這兩種口味蓋瑞推薦必點!店家在端給蓋瑞的時候還特別交待, 因為才剛烤好, 起司很燙也很軟, 如果現在拿起來吃的話起司一定會黏著料流下來, 所以建議等個2分鐘讓它稍微冷卻再開動。

這應該是蓋瑞第一看到用櫛瓜(Zucchini / Courgette)下去製作的披薩, 刨成絲狀的櫛瓜大量且均勻地灑在披薩之上, 而店家選用的培根很特別, 不是早餐店那種薄片有很多油的那種培根, 而是選用細小肉塊狀的培根, 吃起來鹹味較低, 搭配櫛瓜吃很讚。

而燻雞口味則是看到不少人推薦必點, 所以也點來吃看看, 且這半個口味還是選了煄雞+培根的口味, 吃起來大滿足啊。

而Marco Pizza最大的特色, 也是讓蓋瑞和吃友們一吃就大愛的就是它薄脆的餅皮。它雖然薄, 但烤到底部微焦脆的口感能在咀嚼之中散發出麵香, 很讚。

瑪格莉特+燻雞 NT$250
這應該是蓋瑞第一次吃到沒有加羅勒葉下去製作的瑪格莉特披薩, 所以吃起來就是覺得少了一點香氣, 有點可惜了。不過Marco Pizza抹在餅皮上的醬不是那種很濃稠且紅到發亮的蕃茄糊, 而是自己製作還吃得到蕃茄顆粒的那種, 連無法接受蕃茄入菜的吃友都可以接受呢。

這個半半披薩是吃友另外打包外帶回家要給家人享用的, 據他描述四種起司也不錯吃, 裡面還加入了一種會微酸的起司, 大家有機會來吃的話, 也不要錯過這個口味。

看到有甜口味的披薩是一定要點的。不過, 店家用的巧克力抹醬蓋瑞覺得不如Nutella來得好吃 (蓋瑞有偷偷看了一下巧克力罐上的品牌, 是美式大賣場的自有品牌), 也是有點可惜了。
