最近突然發現台南好像也有好幾間店都有供應著不同種類的南洋特色料理, 蓋瑞打算找時間一間一間來去踩點。今天要介紹的BULA冷油咖椰吐司販售的品項雖然不多, 但是應該可以算是星馬的精典平民小吃, 所有的菜色就全部寫在底下這塊掛高在店家牆上的黑板上。簡單來說就是咖椰吐司, 南洋雞肉串燒 (共六種口味), 椰漿飯以及南洋啤酒和馬來西亞的代表飲品美祿。

在店裡用餐, 老板很熱情也會不厭其煩地對每一組用餐客人介紹餐點的特色, 讓對南洋料理較沒概念的消費者在品嚐美食之餘也能吸收並多了解一些南洋餐點的特色和製作方法。
椰漿飯 NT$120
蓋瑞是衝著這道餐點而來的, 除了椰漿飯以外, 還附有2串可任選口味的雞肉串以及一顆可以選熟度的荷包蛋。
雞肉串蓋瑞選了沙嗲以及泰式辣味。BULA的烤雞肉串處理得還滿不錯的, 雞肉即使經過高溫燒烤仍然非常Juicy, 完全不會柴, 泰式辣味很好吃, 不過沙嗲口味就跟蓋瑞在馬來西亞以及印尼吃過的味道不同, 算是BULA較獨特的沙嗲口味。

在點餐前, 老板特別解釋了椰漿飯的作法及特色和吃起來的味道是如何, 實際上吃起來的味道和蓋瑞以前出差馬來西亞吃到的椰漿飯還滿類似的, 淡淡的椰奶香味, 還滿道地的。

另外, 蓋瑞要特別介紹一下椰漿飯附的這一小坨參巴醬 (底下照片右上角咖哩色那坨醬), 建議把它跟椰漿飯充份混合後整個就是超級好吃, 可惜份量太少了啊。

最後, 還有一個很重要的配角-醃洋蔥。蓋瑞和吃友一致認為它超好吃的, 醃漬的酸甜味恰到好處, 而且還有一股淡淡的香料味, 千萬不要錯過它。

先介紹吐司, 店家選用的吐司並不是一般的白吐司, 而是孔洞較大, 質地較鬆軟, 吃起來很像丹麥吐司的口感, 但是又沒有丹麥吐司的油膩感, 且老板裁切的厚度也滿厚的, 給得很大方。

而咖椰醬則是屬於椰糖味較重的那一種, 香蘭味則較淡, 幾乎吃不太出來。 把烤到熱熱且有點酥脆的吐司大量抹上咖椰醬, 中間同樣夾上老板再重新混合調配過後的冰奶油片, 一口咬下只有滿足兩個字可以形容, 雖然對蓋瑞來說偏甜了一點點, 但是還是很好吃, 吃友也都讚不絕口。

看到Bia Hà Nội這熟悉的三個字就讓蓋瑞想起幾年前學越南文的痛苦過程, 不過也幾乎都快忘光了, 只剩下會看字讀音而已。Hà Nội 就是越南首都”河內”的意思, BIA也就是”啤酒”啦。
